The following dogs are posted on our website as a courtesy to the dogs and to the individuals and rescue organizations trying to help them find new homes. These dogs are not in the Lab Rescue of Greater Richmond system. If you are interested in learning more about any of the dogs below, please follow the link or contact the person listed for that dog.
Natasha
Is 4 years old and weighs about 60 pounds. She is an amazing dog and wants to love and be loved. She was initially left behind in Atlanta with another dog when a family decided to move out of the country. They were going to take the dogs to the pound and have them killed but a friend of mine begged them not to and we took care of them at the abandoned house until we found them both homes. Natasha found a home through a friend of a friend in Reston , Virginia and she has been there since October. She appeared to be housebroken in Atlanta and I believe she could be again with some reinforcement, carpet training and crate training. She is incredibly loving and very intelligent. I think she would also benefit from some leash training as she has only ever been walked on a leash during the past 6+ months and loves to chase a squirrel if given the chance. She gets along well with other dogs and loves children of all ages. Her current owner has two small grandchildren that she spends time with daily and she spent a fair amount of time around my son when he was 2-3 months old. She is spayed, microchipped, current on her shots, heartworm negative and is on preventative. Her current owner has taken wonderful care of her and is willing to help get her to a rescue that can help her find a family more suited to her. We would like for her to be an indoor dog. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or you would like to meet her. amyk@creative-stone.net Amy at 404-314-1811
Princess
Princess is a beautiful chocolate lab who is almost 6 years old and full of love and energy. She lives with an alpha Jack Russell and they co-exist pretty well. She loves children, she still gets really excited at first meetings but calms down very shortly thereafter. She is in excellent health and would make a loving addition to virtually any environment. If interested in finding out more about Princess, please contact the owner, Brad, directly via email at deainstructor@gmail.com or bradleysong@aol.com
Amos
Friendly, healthy, well-mannered, well-trained adult black lab mix named Amos seeks home to enjoy his golden years. His family is moving and cannot take him. He is fine with children and some dogs, but does not do well with cats. Amos loves walks, car rides, and spending time with people. He learns quickly and loves to please. His veterinary records are available, but his age is unknown. We think he is about 9 years old. If interested, please email Emily or call 540-967-4670.

Abby
I have a Lab mix (the vet said she is Lab and Cocker, with maybe some Chow, she has a black tongue). I have to move into an apartment in a few weeks and I can't take her with me. She loves to just lay outside, even in the cold weather. I have a covered porch now and that's where she usually sleeps. She is 5 and a half years old, has been spayed and is pretty laid back. I have a another dog and they are fine together but she doesn't get along with all dogs. Please contact HClapp1164@aol.com.
Maggie Needs a Good Home
My family and I have a 7 year old lab/shepherd mix named Maggie. She is the sweetest dog you’ll ever come across, however, with my wife and I having 6 kids (including new born twins) we just don’t have the time or space for poor Maggie. She has an excitable personality, she is currently residing in the back yard. She’s not going to be happy back there and we’re not going to be happy knowing that. We just want to find a good home for Maggie where she can be with a patient loving family. 804-852-8497
